Las 'pasiones ocultas' de Porcel y Villalonga

Los escritores Baltasar Porcel y Llorenç Villalonga se escribieron cartas asiduamente desde 1957 hasta 1976, y esos documentos se publicarán en otoño bajo el título 'Les passions ocultes. Correspondència i vida' (Las pasiones ocultas. Correspondencia y vida) de Edicions 62.
Según informó la editorial, la publicación conmemorará el primer aniversario de la muerte del autor de 'Cada castell i totes les ombres' y 'Cavalls cap a la fosca', que ocurrió el 1 de julio del año pasado.
El compendio cuenta con 487 documentos epistolares que testimonian la relación entre los dos escritores y son una fuente de información sobre sus obras y sobre cuantiosos hechos de la vida literaria mallorquina y barcelonesa de la época.
La edición es de Rosa Cabré, especialista en la obra de Porcel, y contó con la estrecha colaboración del propio autor. El mallorquín Villalonga, hermano del también escritor Miquel Villalonga, falleció en 1980 y es autor de 'Mort de dama'.
